Look at the cover and imagine the glances you'd get while you're reading this book in public. It's a conversation piece for sure! Not only that, but Dan Dillard is one author that I can't get enough of. His stories have an unpredictably creepy outcome, and one of my personal favourites in this collection of short stories was "Strays." If you're a lover of the classic "boy and his dog" stories, you should definitely get it just for that story alone. Having read "Demons and Other Inconveniences," "The Unauthorized Biography of Ethan Jacobs," and "What Tangled Webs," this book ranks right up there. I actually have Ethan Jacobs in e-format but want to get it in print as well. Part of the reason for that is because I like to pick them up and re-read my favourite parts.

How To Eat A Human Being is a favourite of mine, as is everything I have read by Dan Dillard so far. If you are hardcore into horror, then you need at least one of his books, if not more. I'm hoping to add more of his works to my collection.
